Sukhbir/Sukhbir-Speaking-Profile-SukChandigarh, January 28, 2015 (Yes Punjab News)

Punjab government has extended the deadline for regularization of illegal colonies, residential plots and commercial buildings for 3 months more and announced that no further extension will be granted beyond this date.

A decision to this effect was taken on Monday in a meeting headed by Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. After a detailed discussion on the demand from general public and witnessing the good response to the regularization policy, Deputy CM decided to extend last date for submission of applications under this policy from January 27 to April 27.

It has been also decided in the meeting that neither any competent authority would accept any application after April 27 nor any extension in the last date for submission of applications would be granted by the government.

Mr. Badal also directed Director State Town and Country Planner to issue advisory for promoters, plot and building holders that they must avail this last opportunity by submitting applications to competent authorities for regularization of their properties in next three months.
