Youth Congress donates 1025 Units of Blood on Independence Day – Protest in Jalalabad
Jalalabad, August 15 (YP Bureau)
To commemorate country's 65th Independence day, Punjab Youth Congress activists organized Blood Donation Camps all over the state.
More than 1000 units were donated by Youth congress activists.
Flag hosting ceremony was also organised at Jalalabad where Punjab Pradesh Youth Congress President Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary unfurled the national flag and inaugurated blood camp where 215 units were donated.
Applauding the effort and spirit of youth congress leaders and workers he urged the YC activist to work collectively to eradicate drug abuse prevalent in majority of youngsters in the state.
Chaudhary said that it was the duty of the young generation to protect the hard earned independence of the country and contribute in nation building. He urged the YC activists to work for the common man and fight for their rights.
Later YC activists led by PYC President staged protest outside local MP Sher Singh Gubaya’s residence. Local Magistrates accepted Hand Fans and Lanterns which are been give to Akali BJP leaders by the YC in all parliament constituencies against power cuts and demanding roll back on power tariff hike in the state.
PYC General Secretaries Sukhvinder Danny,Gurvir Bhattal, Sect. Deep Randhawa, Sharanjit Sandhu, Goldy Kamboj were among the prominent YC leaders present.
