2nd Punjab Girls Battalion conducts Annual Training Camp

 2 Punjab Girls Battalion Jalandhar is conducting its Annual Training Camp in Jalandhar Cantt from 20 to 29 Jul 2012.  


The camp is being conducted under the command of Col RMS Sandhu assisted by the Associate NCC Officers,  Army instructors and civil staff.


This camp is being attended by 323 NCC cadets who belong to 27 Colleges and Schools of Doaba region.  The camp has given these cadets an excellent platform to bond together and learn the art of camp life.

 The camp curriculum has been designed to make them leaders, more responsible citizens who can give selfless service to humanity and motivate them to join the Army.


    In the camp the cadets have been made to fire rifles, do weapon handling, parade in squads and learn the basics of first aid,  map reading and military craft.  Numerous competitions and cultural events have been planned in which the cadets have participated with enthusiasm.


    In addition to military learning a blood donation camp, planting of trees and an anti polythene drive has been planned.  The cadets were also given talks on good medical health, drug abuse, traffic rules and ecological issues.
